About Me

Margot Nevin, MSSA, LISW-S

I love working with adults 18 years and older regarding a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, and adjustment issues. It gives me great joy to see clients I work with reach their goals and live a more fulfilling life.

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in the state of Ohio. I have been a social worker since 2014. I received my BA at Wittenberg University in 2011, and my Masters of Social Administration at Case Western Reserve University in 2014.

I utilize many different approaches to therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy techniques, person-centered therapy, and EMDR. I have a very warm, laid-back, and empathetic approach to counseling in which I see myself partnering with every client in reaching their goals.

In the past, I have worked at an outpatient program of a hospital, a crisis center, and a community mental health center. My experiences in these backgrounds have allowed me to work with people from many different parts of life. I would be honored if you would let me walk along your journey to a better you.
